Indoor & Outdoor Surround Casings
Available in both 4 and 5 sides, surround casings are designed to house the mailbox bank giving extra durability, longevity and strength. Mailbox Mania offer specific casings, dependant on whether the bank is being sited internally or externally. They come in different thickness, finishes & designs.
External casings are vital to ensure 100% weatherproofness. We also offer Melamine wood effect surrounds as well as the traditional galvanised steel, extruded aluminium and stainless steel and can be finished in a variety of colour choices.
Indoor/Outdoor Surround Casings
Available in both 4 (both sides, top & bottom) or 5 (4 sides plus the back) sides for both horizontal & vertical mailboxes, the eco range, for smaller mailbox banks are produced in 1.5mm thickness and for larger banks, the indoor double surround in 15mm thickness. Not all mailboxes can have the eco surround as it’s based on numbers of units and the overall configuration/weight. The Indoor double surround can also be used externally as long as the bank is under cover as these surrounds are not completely weatherproof.

Outdoor Weatherproof Surround Casings
Available for both horizontal & vertical mailboxes. Covering all 5 sides with a 60mm overhang rain run off, the outdoor weatherproof surround is produced in 15mm thickness. Also available for in front out back banks that are exposed to the elements such as the Kompact DC270 & DC360 where both the front and rear need to be covered.
Alumatic Indoor & Weatherproof Surround Casings
Available for both horizontal & vertical mailboxes, the alumatic surround is produced in high resistance anodized aluminium, 20mm thick, offering superb strength and weatherproofness. Due to its robustness it can be used in extra wide banks that are required as a single unit (up to 3 metres) and offers a stunning finish. Its available in both 4 and 5 side options. The only surround offering maximum protection in high salt/coastal environments
Melamine Wood Effect Surround Casings
A superb wood effect surround available for both horizontal & vertical boxes. For Indoor only installations, offering a solid melamine board of 4 sides in 19mm thickness. Manufactured with chipboard, MDF, plywood & hard fibre, it gives a fantastic, consistent high quality finish and is resistant to scratches, strikes and discoloration.
