Free Standing Mailboxes

As with wallmounted installations, the vast majority of multiple occupancy boxes Mailbox Mania supply can also be freestanding. This applies to both the horizontal & vertical models. Freestanding is a great option when there is limited wall space to surface mount. You are not restricted at all as to where you can site your freestanding bank subject to the amount of area required. They can be freestanding both internally and externally. On freestanding vertical banks such as models like the Kompact V270, lateral side posts are used and on horizontal banks such as the Kompact H270, either base fixed posts which attach to the underneath of the bank and can be cut down to any size required (these are ideal support posts when wallfixing larger mailbox banks) side laterals which offer a different look and feel and also support tables where bolt fixing of support posts is not allowed/suggested such as internally on a marble floor for example. All freestanding mailbox banks are already predrilled on the sides or underneath the surround casing to show exactly where the posts need to be fitted. Posts do not come fitted with the mailbox bank on delivery as they can’t be transported this way. We provide the foot plates as part of the posts which are again predrilled for floor fixing, with heavy duty bolts supplied, or removal of the foot plate altogether so they can be concreted into the ground. Both sets of support posts are available square or round. All freestanding support post can be seen in the options category.
