A wall letter box is without doubt a perfect solution, designed to fit into an existing frame or new frame.

They can fit through walls for secure delivery.  Mail is delivered on the outside of the wall and collected on the inside.  The body of this type of mailbox is usually manufactured from galvansied steel and the plate on the mail delivery front area and the letter flap are made from aluminium.  A lock is fitted into the door which sits inside the wall and an anti theft device is fitted to the letter flap on the front.  The letter flap also contains a rubber gasket seal which ensures rain is kept out and mail remains dry.

This type of mailbox is suited to a building that needs to be secure and which does not allow visitors access into the communal entrance hall, such as a postal worker.

They can be designed to blend into the wall colour scheme or they can be designed to accessorise door handles, such as brass.  There are standard colours to choose from which come in the form of powder coated metals.  The metals of choice are aluminium, bronze, metal, stainless steel and bronze.  Additional features are engraving and intercom systems, in some.

The main features of a wall mailbox include anti theft devices on the letter flaps, they usually come with a name or address plate, are ideal for apartment halls and come in a range of sizes.  They feature lockable doors with security locks and are suited for A4 size envelopes.

Wall mailboxes have to conform to EN13724 and they are Royal Mail approved, they come with guarantees and it is possible to have the letter flaps engraved.
