Home mailboxes have come a long way over the past few years and are now more than just a place to store your mail. There are a wide range of styles, materials and functions available and post boxes are now being used to express personal tastes and enhance the look of a property as well as being a place for the mail to go. You can buy traditional post boxes, decorative ones and contemporary ones in a variety of styles and colours. There is no way that you will be unable to find the right mailbox for you. We at Mailbox Mania, have a huge range to choose from with something suitable for everyone.
The first thing you need to decide on is whether you would like a wall mounted or a post mounted box. If you need a lockable box a wall mounted mailbox may be preferable as they often offer an extra level of security. If you get your newspaper delivered, you can buy post boxes which have a newspaper slot and you can now even get a separate box which is specifically designed for newspapers and magazines.
For a great look, you should try to match your mailbox to the external appearance of your home. Most post boxes are either contemporary or traditional and you should choose them according to the age of your home for best results. Many different materials are used to make mailboxes, including galvanised stainless steel post boxes, aluminium posts boxes and plastic ones. Where you live might influence what type you choose. For example, if you live in a coastal area, you may want to use a plastic or aluminium box as they are less corrosive.
