Post boxes, whether residential mailboxes or those used for commercial reasons such as stainless steel post boxes and metal post boxes, are some of the most common items used in everyday life.
Whilst letter boxes are used daily and absolutely millions of them are regularly used and one of the most commonly sighted view at or in a door of a residential property it is a subject that is rarely discussed as it is rather limited in its context.
For instance, there are not many people who know the history of the first letter boxes and surprisingly enough their concept first evolved in the fashion capital of Europe in Paris, France as far back as early 1700. During the forthcoming years cities and countries across the world began to realise the importance and convenience of owning letter boxes and as such these important but lesser discussed features began to appear at the front of properties across the globe.
As the world has evolved to the next stage of communication via the internet, it is still necessary to have mail boxes within our homes and places of work. Much emphasis is still put on the legal nature of exchanging physical documents and in many cases this is due to the demand for authentic personal signatures that form an integral part of legalising a transaction or agreement.
