The perfect partner when purchasing a rear retrieval/rear access postbox. These letterplates are designed to be fitted over the aperture/posting slot hole you have created in the front of your fence or gate. This letterplate is the only thing the postman sees, lifts up tthe posting flap and deposits the mail into your rear retrieval postbox behind the gate or fence. The letterplate will take A4 envelopes through the slot without bending

Please note when buying the letterplate as a partner for the borkum rear retrieval mailbox the aperture on the letterplate is not as wide as the aperture on the actual postbox, so if you are buying the borkum only because of its extra wide posting slot you will lose some of that slot size width.
